About Napiers The Herbalists
Napiers has been woven into the fabric of Edinburgh’s rich botanical and medical history for more than 165 years. It was established in 1860 by Duncan Napier, an orphan who grew to become one of Scotland’s most respected herbalists. Napiers The Herbalists remedies are rooted in the place, the tradition and the people – from the cobbled streets of Edinburgh’s Old Town to the wild Scottish hills where Duncan gathered herbs. Napiers The Herbalists mission is the same as it was five generations ago when the Napier family first started the business: to make natural healthcare accessible to everyone.
Napiers the Herbalists was founded in 1860 by Duncan Napier, a man whose remarkable life journey shaped one of Scotland’s most enduring natural health traditions. His belief that herbal remedies should be accessible to everyone still guides them today, carried forward by his great-granddaughter Lynda Napier and the generations that came before her.
